Businesses Are Welcome

NeighborWire is community-first, and local businesses are part of that community.

• ✓ One free promotional Feed post per business every 7 days
• ✓ Everyday participation is never limited — answering questions, replying to neighbors, sharing helpful information, and posting service or safety notices
• ✓ Paid advertising is available separately if you want more reach
• ✗ No more than one promotional post per 7-day period
• ✗ No workarounds — duplicate accounts, reworded repeat posts, or delete-and-repost loops
• ✗ Buying advertising never adds free promotional posts

A verified business listing confirms ownership and contact details. It is not an endorsement and does not certify quality, licensing, insurance, or background. Always evaluate a business yourself before hiring or buying.

Flag & Report

Help us maintain community standards.

Accounts & Access

NeighborWire is a shared neighborhood space, and access comes with responsibilities.

• ✓ Keep your account secure and use it as yourself
• ✓ Membership is subject to NeighborWire's Terms and these Guidelines
• • Creating an account doesn't guarantee permanent access — accounts can be restricted, suspended, or closed
• • Content may be moderated, limited, or removed from public view under our policies
• • Trying to get around a suspension, ban, moderation action, verification requirement, or the business promotion limit can lead to further enforcement
• • We may act immediately when it's reasonably needed for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or protecting the community

Consequences

Violations may result in:
